This stretch of country remains isolated from any densely populated cities and is free of pollutants and chemicals. Our farm is owned and operated by a team of dedicated organic beef farmers who have been do this for over 20 years.


The beef cattle that are raised at Autumn Valley have always, and will always, freely ranging our pristine grasslands. Our cattle are never concentrated into factories or feedlots. At Autumn Valley our cattle feast on more than 250 species of native grasses and herbaceous plants, living on the diet that nature intended.

Regulations and Certifications

The National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA) provides certification standards supported by national and international organic accreditation.

Standards include:

 - Farms and abbattoirs are audited by NASAA auditors

 - Antibiotics and growth promoting hormones are not permitted

 - Animals are fed on certified organic feed

 - Certified to national and international organic standards

Australian Government Authorised Halal Program provide guideline for the preparation, identification, storage and certification for export of halal red meat and red meat products

The Australian Department of Agriculture is a department of the Government of Australia charged with the responsibility to develop and implement policies and programs that ensure Australia's agricultural, fisheries, food and forestry industries remain competitive, profitable and sustainable.

Australian Certified Organic (ACO) (formerly Biological Farmers of Australia or BFA)represents both organic and biodynamic farmers. The aim of the ACO is to promote a simple message that such farmers were using natural methods, not synthetic or unnatural methods, to produce their foods for consumers. BFA was registered as a co-operative in 1988, following key community and industry meetings across the country.

The Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS) are standards for the agricultureindustry maintained by the Japanese Government. They are comparable to Japanese Industrial Standards but for food and agricultural products. Once a product has passed tests conducted by government-backed rating bureaus the JAS seal is appended to the product.

Meat & livestock Australia (MLA) is a producer-owned company, working in partnership with industry and government to achieve a profitable and sustainable cattle, sheep and goat industry in Australia.

The Organic Food Chain (OFC) certifies to the Natural Standard for Organic and Biodynamic Produce. OFC certification allows the operator, who is inspected and approved by OFC, to advertise and label their produce/products as meeting the OFC standards.
